BATTERY REVOLUTION: The new 54V XR FLEXVOLT batteries from DEWALT deliver power for the toughest applications. These innovative Li-ion batteries are backward compatible and can also be used in virtually all machines from the 18V XR range. With a very high battery capacity of 108 Wh, they are ideally suited for extremely demanding applications over extended periods. There is no memory effect and no self-discharge. Effective protection against overload, overheating, and deep discharge is provided by special electronics. The 6.0 Ah battery capacity (in 18V mode) ensures a very long runtime. The robust housing and shock-resistant, soldered battery cells make them ideal for tough construction site use. A 3-LED charge level indicator is activated by a push button. Suitable for all DeWALT XR cordless tools with 54 volts and 18 volts (except belt saw GE DCS 371 and radios DCR 016, DCR 017 and Tough-Radio).
