SIMATIC ET 200SP direct starter for operational switching of three-phase motors, with short-circuit protection and electronic overload protection. The multifunctional motor starters are fully integrated into the ET 200SP I/O system. Quick and comprehensive configuration is carried out in the TIA Portal. Thanks to hybrid switching technology, the devices are extremely durable and energy-efficient. The wide setting range reduces inventory and configuration costs with low device variance. The slim design saves space in the control cabinet. Easy installation via wiring bus and plug-in technology enables quick replacement of the motor starters and increases system availability. The devices are approved worldwide (e.g., IEC, CCC, and UL/CSA) and IE3/IE4 ready. Available as direct or reversing starters with various motor current ranges, optionally with safety-related shutdown, also for potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX). A Base Unit is required for operating the ET 200SP motor starter. A 3DI/LC Control Module can be optionally attached to enable manual on-site operation with three additional digital inputs.
