With the Intex 26668GS Krystal Clear saltwater system, you no longer need to use chlorine. The system converts the salt into chlorine. The final salinity of your pool water is approximately 10% of seawater. You will hardly notice the salt in your pool water.
The built-in timer ensures a regular chlorine release, but you need a filter pump to use the saltwater system. The filter pump must be able to pump at least 2,650 liters of water per hour for the system to function properly. The generator comes with a pool hose adapter that makes it suitable for 32 - 38 mm. It is important that pure salt is used in the system. If there is iodine in the salt, you will get yellow water! So make sure you use pure salt.
