E297 installation relays are electromagnetically operated miniature contactors with a width of 18 mm (1 module unit). These relays enable the design of reliable load control systems. They are typically used with a control switch (permanent contact) to control devices such as lighting, air conditioning, fans, or similar equipment. The relay remains in the ON position as long as the control voltage is applied to the coil. When the control voltage is interrupted, the relay always returns to the OFF position. Thanks to their optimal switching capacity, they are also suitable for industrial applications and situations requiring control of high-power loads (such as multiple lighting circuits). The use of an optimized coil (low power loss, lower operating temperature) ensures reliable and trouble-free operation.
