ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded with TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The Ultraflex Xtreme cable features individual cores composed of 52 copper wires, which together form a diameter of AWG23. This design improves the cable's flexibility compared to a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted cores are composed of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together. The more wires in a twisted core, the greater the cable's flexibility.
