ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded with TPE and have an IP67 rating. The super-flexible SF/UTP cable has each individual conductor composed of 28 copper wires, which together form a diameter of AWG26. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted conductors are composed of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together. The more strands in a twisted conductor, the greater the cable's flexibility.
