ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded with TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The Ultraflex Xtreme cable features individual conductors composed of 52 copper strands, resulting in a cable diameter of AWG23. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted conductors are composed of thin strands of uninsulated wire twisted together. The more strands in a twisted conductor, the greater the flexibility of the wire.
