In Germany alone, this is estimated at over 20 billion kWh per year. In a typical household, this can account for around 10-20% of total consumption. Savings of several hundred euros per year are therefore easily achievable. But even in the commercial sector, it is very easy to noticeably reduce electricity consumption by using suitable devices. The AES3 energy-saving socket is particularly suitable for PC workstations. Everyone knows this from their own experience: After shutting down the PC, all other peripherals such as monitors, printers, speakers, and drives should also be switched off. In practice, we know that this is usually not done. Power strips with switches often have the disadvantage of being either inconveniently placed under the desk or simply forgotten when switched off. The AES3 smart power strip is equipped with two features that easily solve this problem. Firstly, the LED switch can be conveniently positioned on the desk, while the actual socket is located on the wall, usually near the floor. Secondly, the AES3 learns the existing standby power consumption, which can vary depending on the connected devices, simply by pressing a button. The user only needs to shut down the PC as usual; after one minute, the power strip completely and 100% disconnects the power flow! Switched on.
