ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket and are therefore highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are molded TPE and have an IP67 rating. The Ultraflex Xtreme cable features individual cores composed of 52 copper wires, which together form a diameter of AWG23. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. The twisted cores are composed of thin, uninsulated copper wires twisted together. The more wires in a twisted core, the greater the cable's flexibility.
