ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses, such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded with TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The super-flexible SF/UTP cable has individual cores composed of 28 copper wires, with a diameter of AWG26. This design offers greater flexibility than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Stranded conductors consist of thin, uninsulated copper wires twisted together; the more stranded conductors there are, the greater the cable's flexibility.
