ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket and are therefore highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are molded TPE and have an IP67 rating. The Ultraflex Xtreme cable features single conductors composed of 52 copper wires, resulting in a diameter of AWG23. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted conductors consist of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together. The more strands in a twisted conductor, the greater the flexibility of the wire.
