ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) sheath and are therefore highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are molded TPE and have an IP67 rating. Ultraflex cable: Each individual conductor is composed of 41 copper strands that together form a diameter of AWG24. This makes the cable more flexible than, for example, a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted conductors are composed of thin, uninsulated wire strands twisted together. The more strands in a twisted conductor, the greater the flexibility of the wire.
