ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are molded TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The super-flexible SF/UTP cable features individual cores composed of 28 copper wires, with a diameter of AWG26. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted-pair conductors consist of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together; the more strands in a twisted-pair conductor, the more flexible the wire.
