ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) feature a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket, making them highly resistant to mechanical stresses such as movement in a chain. The connectors are injection-molded TPE, and the ingress protection rating is IP67. The ultraflex cable has each individual conductor composed of 41 copper wires, resulting in a diameter of AWG24. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted conductors are composed of thin, uninsulated wires twisted together. The more strands in a twisted conductor, the greater the cable's flexibility.
