FI/LS circuit breakers (RCBOs) provide protection for people and property, as well as protection against electrical fires, in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They ensure protection of single-phase circuits against overloads and short-circuit currents, protection against sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating currents with a DC fault current component of up to 6 mA to earth. They also provide fault protection (protection against indirect contact), additional protection, and protection against fires. They comply with product standards IEC/EN 61009-1 (VDE 0664-20) and IEC/EN 61009-2-1 (VDE 0664-21). Application areas include domestic, commercial, and industrial use. The compact design of the DS301C FI/LS is ideal for use in power distribution systems where space is limited. The series features a residual fault current of 30 mA and a type B or C tripping characteristic. The rated breaking capacity according to IEC/EN 61009 is Icn 6 kA. The RCBO DS301C type A is single-pole protected (LS) and has a bipolar output.
