The VOLTCRAFT SEM5000 connects between the power outlet and the consumer unit, quickly and precisely displaying energy consumption or electricity costs in the selected currency. How much energy is being consumed at a given time? The SEM 5000 is an energy logger. The logger uses the same highly precise energy cost measurement technology as all devices in the proven VOLTCRAFT SEM series. However, this device was specifically designed for use in companies that do not allow connection to the IT infrastructure. Therefore, you will not find Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity with this device. Recorded performance data is transferred to a company computer for further processing via an SD card, making it completely independent of company networks or mobile devices. Active power, mains voltage, current, power factor, mains frequency, kilowatt-hours, energy costs, and CO2 can all be displayed directly on the display. Maximum values can also be displayed directly on the display, for example, to record short-term power-on peaks. To minimize reading errors, a very high-contrast EBTN display is installed, which is optimized for reading from 90° from the front to 170° from above, as most sockets are below eye level. For convenient programming at a desk and without a power connection, the display reduces the lighting to a minimum. The device contains no wearing parts such as batteries or accumulators. A maintenance-free Super Cap capacitor provides up to 10 minutes of energy to save time, electricity tariffs, or CO2 emission settings.
