The VOLTCRAFT VC-523 clamp meter is a digital True RMS instrument featuring a 32 mm jaw opening for AC/DC current measurements up to 400 A and voltage measurements up to 600 V (CAT III). It offers a 4000-count contrast-rich LCD and delivers eight measurement functions including resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature via a Type K thermocouple probe, continuity, and diode testing, plus non-contact voltage detection. An ergonomically placed thumb-operated Hold button and integrated LED illumination aid measurements in poorly lit environments. Factory calibration ensures the device meets specified tolerances without the need for certification.
