Minivac is Berkel's latest creation: a small and compact vacuum food sealer for home use, yet with professional performance. Like the smaller sibling of the Vacuum, the Minivac boasts a contemporary and attractive design: easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and always within easy reach. This is an appliance you won't want to hide away in a cupboard! Its compact dimensions deliver maximum performance in a minimal footprint: only 39 cm wide and just over 15 cm deep. Thanks to its slim profile (only 8 cm thick), the Minivac can also be easily stored vertically after use, even in tight spaces. Finally, the ABS tray in Berkel's signature red protects surfaces from scratches. The Berkel MiniVac: useful for significantly extending the shelf life of food. Features include a fully automatic or manual cycle, instant sealing function for delicate foods in bags, a cycle for creating a vacuum in containers, and a vacuum chamber in a tray that allows excess liquid to be collected. Bottom section completely removable and dishwasher safe. Non-slip feet. Waterproof display with bright LEDs. Container features: Protective lid to prevent liquid intake (pump protection). All accessories for Berkel Vacuum have been tested and certified for food contact. Usage recommendations: Gentle cycle without lid in the top rack of the dishwasher. Defrost without lid in the microwave. Operating temperature: -18°C to 100°C. Bag and roll features: Patented, grooved, multi-layer material without BPA. Usage recommendations: Freezer and refrigerator; defrost in the microwave. Boil in 100°C hot water for a maximum of 1 hour. For vacuum sealing in a steam oven or water bath (max. 90°C for a maximum of 72 hours).
