The ROLINE Gigabit PoE++ injector is a so-called PSE, a device for powering devices such as surveillance cameras and LAN devices like access points, bridges, and routers via Ethernet cables. A PSE injects power along with the data into the network cable. This eliminates the need for a separate power supply to the LAN device.
