It is therefore ideal for components that must withstand high temperatures and mechanical loads, far exceeding the limits of standard PLA. Glass fiber reinforced: Thanks to the inclusion of glass fibers, this filament offers increased stiffness, greater impact resistance, and minimal warping. The material reaches an elastic modulus of up to 4200 MPa, offering excellent stiffness and consistent mechanical behavior in both the XY and Z directions. Precision and stability: Thanks to its low shrinkage values—only 0.05% in the XY and Z directions—Polymaker HT-PLA-GF ensures precise and reliable results for precision parts. This dimensional stability makes it an excellent choice for printing devices and functional prototypes. Seamless Printing Experience: The filament is designed to run smoothly at standard PLA settings, requiring a nozzle temperature of 210-230°C and a bed temperature of 25-60°C. It is compatible with most 3D printers and works best with a hardened nozzle due to its abrasive nature.
