Description
The Makita DHP490Z is an 18V LXT cordless percussion drill-driver featuring a brushless motor and two-speed gearbox with ranges of 0–500 and 0–1900 rpm. It delivers up to 65 Nm of torque across 20 clutch settings and offers drilling capacities of 13 mm in masonry and steel, 38 mm in wood, 51 mm with hole saws and 70 mm in siding panels. An integrated LED light with pre- and post-glow enhances visibility in low-light conditions, while the compact 172 × 81 × 255 mm housing provides access in confined spaces. Compatible with Makita’s 18V LXT battery platform, it is supplied without battery or charger.
