The INSTAR IN-9408 2K+ LAN/POE is a weatherproof Ethernet IP surveillance camera featuring a Sony STARVIS Starlight CMOS sensor that captures 2560 x 1440 resolution video. It integrates edge-based AI object detection to distinguish humans, vehicles and animals, and pairs software motion detection with a passive infrared heat sensor for precise alerts. Power-over-Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) supplies data and 12 V DC via a single CAT 5 cable, while HTTPS, WPA2 and ONVIF compatibility secure the connection. A 4.3 mm, 90° wide-angle lens, five high-power IR LEDs (15–20 m range), built-in microphone and optional 3.5 mm speaker jack extend monitoring day and night.
