The strong and durable ASA-CF08 filament is designed for parts that must withstand sun, weather, and mechanical stress. With 8% carbon fiber, the material is rigid and dimensionally stable, while the ASA base provides UV protection and prevents cracking. This makes it ideal for outdoor components and demanding applications. The filament maintains its shape even at higher temperatures and is heat resistant up to approximately 103°C. The combination of stiffness, strength, and impact toughness produces durable and functional printed parts. ASA-CF08 prints best at temperatures between 260°C and 280°C on a print bed heated to 90°C-100°C. For best results, a closed chamber is recommended. Since carbon fiber is highly abrasive, a hardened nozzle is recommended. The filament is particularly suitable for outdoor components exposed to sun and weather, automotive components with high precision and rigidity requirements, and industrial applications requiring a matte, professional surface. When printing ASA, small amounts of styrene may be released. Therefore, it is always important to ensure good ventilation or air filtration in the work area.
