With their help, you can enjoy the authentic taste of water, which after filtration becomes much cleaner and has a lower content of impurities. Thanks to its size and compact shape, the Style filter jug is ideal for storage on a refrigerator shelf, and thanks to its elegant design, it also looks impeccable on the table. The carafe and funnel are dishwasher safe, except for the lid, which must be cleaned by hand. Cartridge replacement indicator The Style filter jug is equipped with an LED filter cartridge replacement indicator, which is located on the lid. This system is unique among BRITA jugs and is only available for the Style series. The Smart Light system monitors the remaining life of the MAXTRA PRO filter cartridge and alerts the user by changing the color from green to yellow and then to red. To activate the monitoring system, press and hold the LED button for approximately 5 seconds, during which the green LED will flash 3 times. Each time the Style filter jug is used, the green light will illuminate; when the green light changes to yellow during use, you will know that it is time to replace the MAXTRA PRO filter cartridge. If the light turns red, the filter cartridge is completely exhausted (the recommended amount of water has already been filtered). Replacing the MAXTRA PRO filter cartridge For a daily consumption of 2 liters of water per person and for optimal results, we recommend replacing the MAXTRA PRO cartridge every 4 weeks or after 150 liters of filtered water. After the recommended time, remove the lid of the filter jug, carefully remove the funnel, then grasp the cartridge on both sides and pull it upwards. The new ergonomic shape of the MAXTRA PRO cartridges allows for easy removal and replacement. MAXTRA PRO technology The kettle is equipped with the BRITA MAXTRA PRO filter cartridge, an improved version of the original MAXTRA+. The innovative MicroFlow filter technology of the MAXTRA PRO filter cartridges used in BRITA filter jugs ensures optimal results every time, with performance being the result of 5 years of research in BRITA's German laboratories. The taste of tea and coffee, whether hot or cold, is noticeably improved once the water used for them is filtered through the MAXTRA PRO filter. Using filtered water prevents limescale deposits in appliances, thus extending their lifespan. MAXTRA PRO offers an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to tap water consumption, with the cartridges being 100% recyclable. Compared to previous versions of BRITA water filters, the MAXTRA PRO filter is equipped with a filter that is four times more efficient than the MAXTRA+ filter. Tap water first passes through a superfine mesh for initial cleaning, which first captures coarse particles from old pipes, and is finally filtered again through a high-performance additional mesh filter. The Micro Carbon activated carbon formula effectively and quickly removes organic impurities that affect taste and smell. At the same time, the ion exchange resin reduces the amount of limescale and metals such as copper and lead.
