EXBA18V-40 Battery Pack: The high-performance EXBA18V-40 battery delivers up to 2000 W of maximum power for demanding applications (based on internal lab tests; instant maximum power with a fully charged, new battery) in an extremely compact design. It is based on advanced Tabless cell technology, whereas conventional batteries use multi-tab cells that only utilize two tabs for current conduction. This creates a bottleneck that increases the battery's resistance. Tabless cell technology eliminates this bottleneck. Instead of just two current paths, it offers countless parallel current paths. The result: lower resistance, less heat, impressive power, and excellent energy density. With its new reinforced, robust housing, excellent thermal management through COOLPACK 2.0, and Tabless cell technology, the EXBA18V-40 offers a long service life and is therefore ideal for professionals who require durability and high performance. The EXBA18V-40 has an extended charging temperature range of -10°C to +55°C when used with the EXAL18V2-320 or EXAL18V-160. It features a 5-LED display for charge status, remaining capacity, and fault risk detection. Compatible with the Bosch Professional 18V System and the cross-brand AMPShare battery alliance, it can be fully charged in just 30 minutes with the EXAL18V2-320 or EXAL18V-160 and weighs only 605 g.
