Gesipa 1433638 - Blind Rivets Stainless Steel - 250 pcs. (1433638)
GESIPA blind rivets guarantee a permanently secure joining of various, even delicate, materials. Blind rivet technology from GESIPA has become indispensable in many modern industrial productions where fastening technology is required, due to its cost-effectiveness and versatility. It combines advantages such as overcoming limited component access, permanently secure joining of a wide variety of materials, including delicate ones, and, upon request, even documentation of the setting process. Technically, the blind rivet consists of two components: the hollow rivet and the mandrel. While screwing, clinching, and self-piercing riveting, etc., always require access to the component from both sides, the truly special feature of blind rivets is that access to the component from only one side is necessary. During the setting process, the rivet mandrel is pulled by the chuck jaws of the setting tool, deforming the hollow rivet until it reaches the predefined, secure fit in the component. Finally, the rivet mandrel breaks off at the designated point, the predetermined breaking point, and the remaining mandrel can be recycled. The remaining mandrel is the part of the rivet mandrel that remains in the hollow rivet and can, depending on the application, provide an additional locking function. Blind rivets are the perfect fastener for every application, as they are available in a wide variety of designs and materials.
