Originally developed as a small truck in 1945 and manufactured by its then engine supplier Daimler-Benz since 1950, the all-wheel-drive Unimog is an indispensable workhorse with outstanding ground clearance thanks to its portal axles, primarily used in agriculture and forestry. It is one of the most widely produced vehicles of its kind worldwide. This model series is still manufactured today due to its popularity and versatility. The Amewi Edition is an exclusive, licensed 1:12 scale replica of this renowned vehicle and is in no way inferior to the original, either visually or technically. This RC model is equipped with a precise 2.4GHz remote control with fully proportional driving functions, a cardan shaft drive, metal CVD drive shafts, all-wheel drive (4WD), lockable differentials in the axles, and two selectable gears, also controlled via the remote control. This ensures the vehicle travels safely on any surface. Integrated splash protection and a long driving time of up to 25 minutes guarantee extended driving pleasure. Thanks to portal axles with reinforced leaf springs, the model boasts increased ground clearance and, in combination with two powerful high-torque 260 brushed motors, a multi-reduction and protected gearbox, offers exceptional performance.
